As for “crystal covered” I wouldn’t know. Mine came out of the bag compressed into one big wad I had to pry apart just to see individual buds. There’s a vaguely sardine smell which I really like. Smokes well with pleasant and lightly energizing effect. Overall a nice strain worth the $$ if it’s on sale.
